Seamer Gus Atkinson Adds to the English team's Fitness Concerns.
'Major setback' for the touring side after Atkinson leaves the field with a hamstring injury.
Gus Atkinson added to England's injury problems when he left the ground on the second morning of the Boxing Day Test against Australia.
The right-arm seamer felt a problem in his left hamstring post-delivery of the fourth over at the MCG.
The England team reported Atkinson had experienced "tightness" and was to take time away from the action for further assessment "over the next few hours".
The series decider of the series at the SCG begins at the end of the week.
The visitors have previously lost key quicks Mark Wood due to knee trouble and Jofra Archer with an abdominal strain during this series.
A replacement bowler was added to the party as injury reinforcement.
Atkinson struggled early in the series, taking just three wickets.
He was dropped from the previous Test, before being recalled for the Boxing Day match as Archer's replacement.
Surrey's Atkinson showed better form in Melbourne, claiming a couple of wickets in Australia's first innings, before adding 28 with the bat among just a trio of English batsmen to reach double figures.
Following a brief spell at the end of day one, he returned for the second day's play and dismissed the nightwatchman edging to the keeper.
However, at the end of that over, he delivered a change of pace to the batsman and suddenly grabbed at his leg.
Gus Atkinson was recalled for the Melbourne match following his omission of the third.
